Over the course of 2020, Durham County Football Association have delivered a number of webinar series as part of our Coach Development Programme. These webinars have been wide and varied with a number of highly regarded guest presenters. Our final event of the year was delivered by David and Keith Mayer, the co-Authors of the No.1 Best Selling Book, ‘Gold Dust: How To Become A More Effective Coach, Quickly’. Having reached out to Keith and David to express our interest in them presenting on our behalf, the level of professionalism was second to none. Both David and Keith were eager to present, to bring their content to a new audience. The passion for what they do was clear from day one. In the lead up to the event, Keith and David were in regular contact to ensure a smooth running of the event. Quite simply, they went above and beyond what was expected from them.

 

In regard to the webinar itself, this was delivered exceptionally well, again demonstrating the highest level of professionalism. Their presentation captured a large audience of coaches, from Level 1 – UEFA A Licence, keeping them engaged throughout. Indeed, the presentation ran over time, due to the volume of questions being posed by the audience. The content and delivery really were exceptional.

 

David and Keith’s level of knowledge and experience is vast, yet they were able to articulate their presentation in a way that was understandable for all; whilst leaving the audience wanting more. They really are masters of their trade. 

 

The feedback we have received post webinar has been superb, with coaches asking for more, whilst also wanting to purchase the book and engage with the podcast. 

 

We would undoubtedly re-engage with Keith and David again in the future. Two brilliant educators and even better people.
